About us
At large international Viking fighting events, it is common for a well-established organization to guarantee that a new participating group has the necessary knowledge and skill level for the event’s battles. A Finnish coalition, consisting of fighters from several Kaarti groups fighting under a red and yellow bear shield, was accepted to events in Denmark and Germany in 2024, largely thanks to personal contacts.
Following a successful fighting campaign, Finnish Vanguard ry was founded as a cooperation body that enables all Finnish Viking fighters to participate in international events under one, already established shield.
